Hi! We are two government employees on the path to financial Independence. You can call us Mr. & Mrs. Fig (Financial Independent(ish) Government workers). I guess that’s more of a FIGw but pronounced Fig. Mr. Fig works for the federal government and Mrs. Fig works for a state government.
While we have always been frugal, we started our path to FI in 2018. This blog is about our path to financial independence. We want to write about special FI considerations that may apply to government employees.
